Your healing journey starts here.
Inlet Therapy supports adults navigating life in New York City, many of whom are high-achieving and outwardly successful but struggle with anxiety, depression, attachment challenges, or eating disorders. About Jillian
Born and raised in New York City, I am no stranger to the pressures of life here.
Whether that is the need to achieve, wanting to look a certain way, constant comparison, or struggling to find community, it can feel exhausting.
I aim to help my clients work on identifying their own goals through constant collaboration. My style is open, non-judgmental, human, and collaborative. I tend to think about the person holistically and will incorporate psychodynamic work and mindfulness tools to help clients get to the root cause and manage symptoms along the way. Additionally, I will always engage in care collaboration with outside providers and provide appropriate referrals to make sure you are getting the best care.
I received my B.A. in psychology from George Washington University and masters in social work from the Silver School of Social Work at New York University. I strive to constantly be learning and growing in my therapeutic style and work. This is evident through my extensive post-graduate training. I received a certificate in the psychodynamic treatment of eating disorders from the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy in 2023 and a certificate in couples therapy from the Ackerman Institute for Families in 2026.
About Inlet Therapy
Inlet therapy specializes in serving young women and men in their twenties and thirties navigating life in New York City. Many of our clients are high-achieving, perfectionistic, and outwardly successful, yet struggle with anxiety, depression, attachment patterns, or eating disorders. At the start of therapy, our clients struggle with a strong inner critic, rumination, and/or self-doubt. Our clients will learn skills to help quiet their critical voice and strengthen a more compassionate one, gain clarity around their identity and values, and heal early relational wounds through deep, trauma-informed, relational work. My goal is to help people feel more grounded and confident in themselves so they can engage with the world more freely.
Our approach is trauma-informed and relational, drawing from psychodynamic and parts-based work. In therapy, we work to soften the critical inner voice, strengthen self-compassion and heal early relational wounds.
